That is a Jeep YJ. Yea, no rounds not a Jeep to me either but luckily they listen tobus customers and went back to round. On the upside, if the YJbsinks, no great loss.
At least YJ's have leaf springs and not the yuppie shit TJ do. And don't start on me about how nice the ride is. If you need a smooth ride stay on the pavement
A perfectly good waste of a fine Wrangler. The YJ model ('86-'95) had rectangular headlights. Jeep fixed the error and went back to round headlights in '96 with the TJ model. Wish I still had that TJ. sigh.
YouTuber Clodd on Down2Mob sold his 2002 Dodge 2500 4x4. He acquired a brand-new 2021 Jeep Gladiator with zero miles.
Used as intended, the frame broke. He reinforced it... transferring stress to the next weakest components.
Used as intended, the wheels bent.
Used as intended, the front axle broke at the pumpkin. He installed new Dana 60 8-lug axles at about us$17,000. www.currieenterprises.com/extreme-60-performance-axle-set-for-jeep-gladiator
I expect it will need transmission work, steering work, new drive-shafts.
Apparently, the factory-installed windshield wipers still function. But he is headquartered in Arizona, so that theory may never be tested.
Aahhh sorry thats not a jeep. Jeeps have ROUND head lamps. Not sure what they are floating in looks kinda funny .

ReplyDeleteSorry Cavguy, that’s a mid 90’s Jeep YJ, you know, the original Jeep Wrangler.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? Jeeps are great. Tou just have to take out all of the defective parts. Oh, they did.

ReplyDeleteSomething about that makes me think of Fred and Barney.
ReplyDeleteInventive/energetic enough to turn it into a pontoon boat, but can't figure out how to attach an outboard to it...
ReplyDeleteThey did but it was a Jeep outboard ... that's why they carry the spare paddles for when THAT breaks down.
