Fucking buzzkills

After passage in the House, the Tennessee Senate killed a bill protecting drivers who hit protestors unintentionally and heightening charges for protestors blocking roads. The Senate deferred the bill to summer study last Tuesday. Prior to that, the legislation struggled to move forward in the Senate after action was deferred or delayed several times in committee.

    2. That's why I bought a Matilda II; I can only do 16 mph - if I hit 'em, it's their fault for not getting out of the way, since they had at least 15 minutes to move.

  2. Pssssst. Dirty little secret: There IS no "Summer Study"; it's a limbo where controversial bills go to die between sessions.

  4. They just should put a rider you can have on your insurance policy, cost like 50$ extra per year, that goes into the uninsured protestors fund, to pay to have the dead moron cremated, once they get a few bodies piled up, then light 5 or so at a time, to save the state money. If you don't have that on your insurance policy, you have to pay for the whole cremation yourself.
