Ran into Clint in St. Louis about 30 years ago while working a VIP for Ron Reagan. Very tall. Damn friendly. Wanted to see our Command Post, said he was thinking about a movie about the Secret Service. He and Ron had been friends for years so the agents made that happen. Oh, the good old days! Eod1sg Ret
Doing research for 'In the Line of Fire', perhaps? BTW, my Dad met him when they were doing the Dirty Harry movies in San Francisco and said the same thing; that he was very friendly and treated everyone the same. He could pretty much get whatever he wanted from the city, as everybody loved him. He was a favorite son. He was born there.
Oh shit, make that 40 years ago! Early eighties. Army EOD did all the bomb sweeps for the President, Vice President and foreign heads of state back then. Still do, as far as I know. We got a civilian clothing allowance and $55 a month in demo pay. Fun when you’re a kid, got old as time went on. Eod1sg Ret
You notice he keep I he 1873 model pointed toward the ground, half cocked the hammer, opened the loading gate, and rotated the cyclinder to make sure it was empty before putting his finger inside the trigger guard to do any tricks....
I know he WAS married to Sandra Locke back in the 70s and 80s and that looked like her standing next to him, maybe their daughter i do not know anyone know!!!! grayman

I'm thinking to myself, is he going to check that it's not loaded? Yep. Smarter than what, 99% of people?
