Univ of Saigon 68, if you are in mid michigan try “Jays Sporting goods”in Clare. When I was there Monday I picked up the max allowed;400. Call first. Cost was $23.95 for box of 50 Remington target 115g, Jays is the only place I’ve seen around that has it for under $.50 a round.

Well hell, as much as we're paying for anmo these days, can't we expect that it will at least send a bullet to its target?
ReplyDeleteHere is the most important note about this recall.
ReplyDeleteNOTE: If ammunition of the above Symbols was purchased before March 25, 2021, it is NOT subject to the recall.
I haven't been able to find any, much less afford it since March.

DeleteSharp eyes, JamesD. Thank you, and you, Wirecutter.
ReplyDeleteCamp McPhee is safe. Bought all mine in 2019. And before.
Yeah, I was all worried I was going to have to go through all my ammo until I saw that and realized it doesn't pertain to me!
DeleteWait. Someone has bought ammo AFTER march 25, 2021?

DeleteI wonder if this has anything to do with Obummer's 2 billion ammo purchase.

Mark this up as another reason why I roll my own. . . .
ReplyDeleteSame here. Haven't bought factory loads in 20 years. Have never had a FTF with mine in any caliber.
