Army Ranger Lt. Thomas "Tommy" Gwynn joined the United States Armed Military Forces in 1940.
Lt. Gwynn served in both WWII and the Korean War. He was on the beaches of Normandy during the 1944 invasion.
Wounded 20 times, Lt. Gwynn says pain never stopped him from fighting.

DeleteNot to rain on a parade, but a picture shows a CIB with two stars. That requires three wars as an infantryman.
