How hard can it be to track down a Maserati?

Police are searching for a Maserati and its driver after shots were fired in a road rage incident last week in Washington, D.C., police said.

Security camera video recorded in Northeast Washington last Wednesday shows a vehicle that apparently "cut the Maserati off" as it was trying to merge lanes near an intersection, police said.

Of course, it being DC the driver will probably claim diplomatic immunity.

  1. One can claim diplomatic immunity, but..

Ten or so years ago here, a member of the Ukrainian Embassy (which is housed in a historic building) go uber DUI caused and caused a fatal accident. He didn't walk away as his government waived his diplomatic status and left him at the mercy of our legal system.

But getting back to the would-be 51st state, that incident is but another reason why that misgoverned, mismanaged hell-hole should never be admitted as a state.

  2. There's atleast 1 on every block. Ghettos (yeah, plural) included. With all of the gov't moochers there, you're just as likely to see a hobo as a $100k car.

  3. How does "diplomatic immunity" work in Iran, North Korea and Venezuela? There you are.

  4. Who even wants a Maserati? I would rather have the Lamborghini tractor...
