Husband of Ashli Babbitt Files Lawsuit to Demand Name of Capitol Police Officer Who Killed Her

The widower of Ashi Babbitt, the Air Force veteran who was killed by a Capitol Police officer on January 6th, has filed a lawsuit seeking to finally uncover the name of the guilty officer, the New York Post reports.

Aaron Babbitt filed the lawsuit in the Washington D.C. Superior Court, demanding all information related to his wife’s murder, including video footage and statements from witnesses to the incident, in addition to seeking the identity of the officer who fired the fatal shot. Separately from this lawsuit, Babbitt’s family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit for $12 million against the Capitol Police, according to the Babbitt family’s attorney Terry Roberts.

    3. A colored feller?
But that had nothing to do with it.
      Because can't be racist.

  2. I might be the only person in the world the feels this way, but I believe that the first person through the broken open Capitol door shout have been shot dead and any who also entered. It is the Capitol, for Christ sake. Regardless of who is in office, the place should be respected.

    1. Now do the leftists invading the capitol during the Kavenaugh hearings.
FYI- in both instances they were invited in.

    2. How many capitol invaders were shot during the Justice Kavanaugh protests? I'll help you here. None. Likewise several other protests and invasions.

The difference is they were all lefty causes, sanctioned by members of the house and senate because orange man bad. So invasions are just fine, the precedent was set. Unless you are supporters of the wrong group.

Respect is earned, not given. It is the peoples house at the end of the day. What have the current group of corruptocats done to warrant earned respect? Never held a real job and come out multi-millionaires based on insider trading and payoffs that would put you or I in jail.

And you are what is called a useful idiot. The door was not broken down, it was opened from inside. You are the kind or person that the phrase "May your chains rest lightly upon you" was written for.

    3. You're not the only one... but I disagree with your reverence.
If it is OK for Antifa to riot and burn down Portland, toss live fireworks at cops, than you don't get to shoot an unarmed person climbing through a window.
If the couple in Minneapolis is charged with a hate crime for "brandishing" a rifle in front of protesters, because: "its only property", or "insurance will cover it", than the same applies to any of the structures in Washington.
Its just a building, why does it deserve more respect than the historical home in Minneapolis? If anything, Ashli Babbitt had every right to be there - as a taxpaying citizen she OWNS that building.
Your patriotism and reverence are admirable, but misplaced. The slimebags polluting your illustrious structure should be a bigger concern than the building they commit their crimes in. If you were truly concerned about the sanctity of this nation and our treasures, start with the rag known in these parts as The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.

  3. Does anyone know why the identity of the shooter has been withheld from publication? I can't think of another instance of a police shooting where this was the case.

    1. The identities of the police officers who shot Lavoy Finicum were never released to the public even though the law required it to be released. The rule seems to be they can hide their identities if they shoot conservative protesters.

  4. The shooter is black. That's why any information is next to impossible to get the media to say anything. Against the narrative, don't you know....

  5. If that were my wife I would want the correct species listed on the hunting tag as well. Not a single obstacle would stand in the way. I wish him good hunting.

First blood has been drawn, they fear an eye for an eye. That cop is a dead man walking, and he knows it.

    2. Yeah, he's a "dead man walking" and that Hundred Heads Insurance Policy is gonna get collected. Not a chance. Dude will die of old age, since nobody is going to do anything. Just like always.

  7. I will say it now and hope to God I am wrong....Aaron Babbitt didn't kill himself.
On a related note, did you all see that the reporter who broke the story of Bill Clinton-Loretta Lynch tarmac was found dead of...wait for it...big surpise...an apparent suicide!

  8. This was a hate crime, pure & simple. A White woman killed by a black man. And she was the only person killed.
