Ky. law enforcement concerned about losing ‘qualified immunity’ amid police reform

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Congress continues to debate the police reform bill known as the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act.

While the bill is stalled, Senator Rand Paul said he has met with numerous law enforcement leaders across Kentucky to discuss the bill, including right here in south/central Kentucky.

  2. Include a 2-3 year sunset clause, so the bill can expire as unintended consequences appear.
In my opinion, all legislation should have sunset clauses.

  4. Great. Now every Karen in the country is going to get their day in civil court and the cop(s) in question get to pay to defend themselves out of pocket.

    1. The other alternatives look similar to the “Dorner incident” some time back on the west coast. You see eventually folks get fed up with their shit and put a fucking end to it. Which would impact you less? 🏴‍☠️

  5. Police have gotten away with violating people's rights for far too long. Here is a recent example: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/apr/21/colorado-police-arrest-woman-with-dementia-break-arm-karen-garner Police broke the arm and separated the shoulder of a 73 year old woman with dementia and then laughed about it.

  6. Here is the plan. We're somewhere between Step 1 and Step 2 right now.

    1. Drive out decent cops through idiotic policies that protect real criminals but punish decent people through abuse of the judicial process. Simultaneously convert cops into generators of revenue for The State. (Asset seizures, etc.)

    2. Drive out the smarter bullies and badge orcs who are happy to serve as State thugs, so long as they get to push people around. You do this by taking away qualified immunity.

    3. Now there aren't enough bodies wearing blue uniforms. So you get rid of background checks, requirements to not be a felon, etc. This gets you police forces composed of outright criminals and sociopaths, and there will be a much much higher percentage of criminal negroes with badges. It will be at the point where no one will call the police after a robbery, because while the thieves only got your stuff, the police will come and take what's left, after raping your wife and daughter. This will be the norm in blue hives. Rural communities may be spared.

    4. Urban police forces will be so hated and feared that at some point a Congressional "reform" will take place whereby city forces are disestablished and disbanded in favor of a single Federal Police force covering the entire FUSA. The mostly decent rural police will also be wiped out in this purge.

    5. Utopia! What could go wrong with a single Federal police force controlled by the smartest and best people? The disarmed helots (NOT citizens any more, helots) will own nothing and be happy. THIS is the goal.

  7. If the cops don’t like it, 7-11 is probably hiring.

  10. Qualified immunity and civil asset forfeiture are the two laws most abused by police ever put into effect. These laws INVITE police corruption at all levels of any police organization. This corruption is why you get officers like Derrick Chauvin and the crew that killed Freddie Grey.

Were both of the individuals mentioned low life, drug addict criminals? Yes they were. However, the police are not the arbiters of justice in our system and NO ONE should ever die or be seriously injured; like getting their head repeatedly smashed into a cement wall which left a young man practically a vegetable or getting the crap beat of them when they are down on the ground with half a dozen police officers sitting on them, while handcuffed in police custody. Those two incidents happened in my state and the evidence of their criminal behavior is on video tape.

I really thought the idiots were going to shoot. The idiot kids probably saved me saying "Don't shoot him, we were drinking in his building"...
