  3. Wow. Does anyone know if that only works on green logs or certain species? I've spend DAYS and WEEK peeling logs, and if this actually works, would have saved me quite a bit of time and effort. Especially if it'll work on beetle-killed fir logs.

    The paper mill I used to work at had a modified Bellingham Barker in the Woodmill that used a high-pressure water jet. Since the Woodmill had been built to handle old growth timber, the barker was very large -- it could take logs 6 feet in diameter and peel the bark off of them in short order.
