  1. Well done!
And the cat was a nice touch.

  2. Not my cup-a-tea, but hey, it's as good a therapy as Tai Chi for relieving stress. Personally, I prefer to take the edge off by drinking.

    1. I'm with you, Bun. Dry martini straight up. Dry as high school history, cold as a banker's heart. Stirred, not shaken. Do not, under any circumstances, shake my martini.

      And whatever you're having.

  3. That's memory gold for me. The bakery in my neighborhood as a kid still had one. The old man refused to give it up as it was his fathers.

  5. Attention to detail...that includes the video production.

    1. The video editing was the most impressive of the entire thing. Lots of people can restore old equipment, perhaps just as nicely as this job here. But to make this video that shows the process come alive, takes a keen eye and a good imagination.

    2. The editing was overdone. I'd rather watch that restoration over the course of several hours.

  6. That could be Phil, except the top of the workbench is visible, and the hands are too clean

  7. There is a guy who has a web site (almost looks like this could be his work) that restores old items. Most are pretty interesting if a bit long.

  8. The restoration is amazing, but that video was really well done. The cat was a nice touch.

  9. These are the guys who did that restoration. A father and son team, you can tell who's who by the hands. Pretty damn good, in my opinion.

  10. LADB restoration videos are one of my favorites to watch.

Watching him rebuilding some 100 year old wheelbarrow or some very antique vineyard stuff is awe inspiring.
