What, they don't do background checks on MPs anymore?

Authorities in California’s agricultural heartland weren’t looking for a military assault rifle when they went to investigate the domestic assault case, but they found one.
It was in the garage of a Spanish-tiled home in Fresno that police stumbled upon the AK-74. Its distinctively banana-shaped magazine — loaded with 20 rounds — was in a nearby storage container.

  1. With the Top Secret+ clearance I had, they looked up every orifice I had believe me... I asked for a cigarette after.

  3. Wow! Three bullets in two seconds! No wonder they’re illegal.

    1. AK-74s are similar to their more famous cousin, the AK-47. Every two seconds, they shoot three bullets.

Uh...CBS Sacramental....the rate of fire for an AK-74 is 600-650 rounds per minute on full auto.

As usual, teevee stations don't know squat about firearms.

  4. trotting this "story" out after three years on all the media outlets tells me to expect a big shooting involving stolen mil guns. they want an excuse to disarm the military since they figure its too white bread to purge.

  5. But they want to restrict the rights of law abiding citizens to legally acquire firearms. If the thugs want guns, they will get them regardless of what the laws say. Bonnie and Clyde found out that the National Guard and the police were a great source of firearms and nothing has changed in 100 years.

  6. The only background checks are on white MP's since they could be a member of a white supremacist organization. Other races obviously can't be thugs and criminals or members of organizations that seek the overthrow of the US government.

  7. "AK-74s are similar to their more famous cousin, the AK-47. Every two seconds, they shoot three bullets. Because of how rapidly they fire, civilians cannot legally possess them in the United States without a license."

I can do that with a bolt action, and hit what I'm aiming at.

I guess I'm an illegal assault rifle, and should change my driver's license to reflect this.

I love it when people that don't know shit pretend they do.

    That's 90 rounds/minute, a semi-automatic rate (the AK-74 auto rate is 600).

I suppose this reporter thinks civilians shouldn't own semi-automatic weapons.

  11. They must be using the “new math”.
Rate of fire for AK74 is 600 rpm.

  12. Idiots. Everyone knows AK-74 stands for “automat killer” and it sprays 74 boolits on each pull of the trigger.

This is far superior to the Assault Rifle-15 which can only spray 15 bullets every time you pull the trigger. The advantage of the AR-15 is that a silencer makes it go “pshht, pshht” which is almost completely silent. That’s why the AR-15 is the worlds best sniper rifle.

    1. Plus, you can add the chainsaw bayonet to the AR.
