  3. #9. Is that Storrow Dr. in Boston? I ask because I almost drove a large glass truck under that bridge. It was almost white out snow and I was new to the area (and new to driving in snow) and missed the "trucks exit here" sign.

    1. Yeah, not sure which, but it's either Storrow Drive on the south side of the Charles River, or Memorial Drive on the north side. Gotta be a pretty distracted driver to not see, and heed, those "Can Opener Ahead" signs. New to the area and driving in snow too? You're forgiven. One of the perils of driving in an old city that was designed for the horse and carriage.

  9. #6. Let's do a little math. I'm guessing that truck bed is 5' X 5', and if the water is 1 foot deep then there is 25 cubic feet of water in there. Now there are 7.48 gallons of water per cubic foot. And water weighs 8.34 pounds per gallon. So 25 X 7.48 X 8.34 = 1559.58 pounds! That's a lot of weight in that little truck bed. Yeah I know, sometimes I can be a bit of a nerd.

    1. You forgot to add in 400 pounds for the two morons riding in back.

    2. There is nothing nerd about that. It is how everyone used to think. What would be nerd is deriving the ambient temperature to the 2nd decimal so you could more accurately solve for the weight of water.
