The horse is called a 'five-gaiter', that gait is called a 'rack'. Tennessee steppers are pacers. (This all according to my wife who did dressage for the better part of a decade in her youth.)
#10 is called drown proofing. We did it with one of ours. You train them if they fall in a pool to turn on their back. Crying a making a fuss in encouraged so someone is more likely to hear them and pull them out of the pool. As I recall, my now 39 year old wore red Oshkosh coveralls for the final.
What's with the first one?
ReplyDeleteHe thinks he's leaning into the curve just by tilting his head.
DeleteDude must have learned to ride on a PlayStation.
DeleteIf you want a laugh, sit at a stop light and watch people do the same thing in their cars when turning.
DeleteJeremy P.
He's falling asleep, looks like.
DeleteLooks like he nodded off there for a bit.
DeleteFeel asleep.
DeleteI disagree. I think the idiot is falling asleep.
DeleteMaybe, he's just an idiot.....
Delete#1 might have a sane explanation. It looks rather damp out there. There may be tiny clear spots for visibility through a fogged visor.
Delete#10 that's how i learned to swim and get out of a tied sack all in the same day
ReplyDeleteToo bad the kid's too young to appreciate the hot instructor and pretend he's drowning so she'd give him mouth-to-mouth.
DeleteYou got the trophy today.
Delete# 4 looks like a fine tennesse stepper
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!

#1 is asleep on the motorcycle. He drifts over to the oncoming lane. I was cringing for the splat on an oncoming truck.
ReplyDelete#6 is part of the reason why I never went in for track and field.
ReplyDelete#9 skater-boi should be fed his board in small pieces after getting wacked in the 'nads 5 or 6 times.
ReplyDeleteI disagree, he took out a cyclist, he should get a medal. 😎
DeleteMichael in Nelson
#4 is a very happy horse...he enjoys working with his human obviously...
ReplyDelete#2 - So that's how they make those pasta shells.
ReplyDelete#3 Okay, Natasha, we have found Squirrel. Where is Moose?
ReplyDelete#2 Pod people! Pod people!
