A whopping two-thirds of Republicans in the South favor seceding from the United States while nearly half of Democrats in the Pacific region and almost 40 percent in the Northeast say the same, according to a new survey.
Support for secession is also considerable among independents in the Midwest and Great Lakes regions, where 43 percent say they would favor breaking away and forming their own country.
In an ideal world this would be welcome news, however, in the Pacific Northwest the Chinese will seize upon this opportunity to land a shitload of troops, thus complicating things.
Not much of a complication once the 3 letter agencies are no longer able to protect those troops from the blades of grass. State defense forces, including maritime aviation, would be able handle that problem relatively quickly. Invaders will always lose against an armed and motivated populace that isn't suppressed by its own government.
The Daily Mail didn't do their homework. If the West Coast seceded the eastern halves of Washington & Oregon would join the "Mountain" country, as would a good chunk of eastern California. Then there's Illinois vs. Chicago, where the rest of the state would love to cast off the dysfunctional city and, at least Cook County. And those aren't the only ones. Once started, it wouldn't be pretty.
They want to split from the good old US of A? That is weird, just at a time where the federal government wants to decide what you ride what you eat what you write what you post what you wear on your face and what you think? I am shocked.
most states would be rather nice places to be if one could remove the stupid cities along with the burbs near them that think the same way. big difference between city folk and country people. and when it get sporty we shall see the difference big time too. rats and dogs do not get rid of unwanted waste like pigs can. and damn near every country boy or girl I ever meet cold shoot. most gang bangers cannot hit anything unless standing within 5 feet of the target.
