The man can be seen on surveillance video showing his gun to customers at O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern in Pensacola before making a quick motion as if putting it into a pretend holster below his shoulder. When he did, the gun discharged and a bullet hit the man’s torso, according to the Pensacola News Journal.

Let me guess, it was a Glock.
ReplyDeleteThe photograph in the press-release shows a Hi-Power.

Of course, with the quality of journalism these days, the weapon could be a nibbled PopTart, the bar could be a paint store, and instead of Pensacola, it was Constantinople.
And it happened sometime in 1979.
All easy mistakes.

I would almost rather show the patrons of a bar my penis than to show them my carry gun. Relax I said almost. I would not show them either of the two. At least they would never laugh at my gun.
