Your Friday Morning Florida Report

PENSACOLA, Fla. – A man apparently shot himself by accident while showing Florida bar customers his gun Thursday night.

The man can be seen on surveillance video showing his gun to customers at O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern in Pensacola before making a quick motion as if putting it into a pretend holster below his shoulder. When he did, the gun discharged and a bullet hit the man’s torso, according to the Pensacola News Journal.

    1. The photograph in the press-release shows a Hi-Power.
      .
Of course, with the quality of journalism these days, the weapon could be a nibbled PopTart, the bar could be a paint store, and instead of Pensacola, it was Constantinople.
And it happened sometime in 1979.
      All easy mistakes.

  5. I would almost rather show the patrons of a bar my penis than to show them my carry gun. Relax I said almost. I would not show them either of the two. At least they would never laugh at my gun.
