Coward of Broward to face charges

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The former school resource officer accused of hiding during a South Florida school shooting that left 17 people dead will have to convince a jury that he wasn’t criminally negligent, a judge ruled Thursday.

Broward Circuit Judge Martin Fein declined to dismiss the child negligence charges against former Broward County Deputy Scot Peterson, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

  1. The coward should also face the death penalty, desertion under fire.

  2. If you call yourself a man and won't put your ass on the line for kids then you are a girly boy. I've been in situations I was scared shitless but I didn't run and hide. I fought back as hard as I could. Any man says he was in a firefight and wasn't scared is either full a shit or there is something very wrong with him.

  4. “but, but, but... muh qualified immunity...

You get more of the behavior that you reward and less of that for which you punish. Not that you should have to. This isn’t some middle eastern backwater where “children are a replaceable commodity”.

  6. I kinda don't understand why one or more of the fathers of the kids that were killed hasn't given him a dirt nap by now.

...and to boot, he got his job back WITH back pay after the sheriff fired him.

There's something definitely wrong with that.

      Or one of the mothers.

Also, you knew what the job was when you pulled the zipper down, Scot.

  7. I really do not care what happens to him, but the statement is flawed he does not have to convince the jury that he is innocent. The state has to prove he committed a crime. the media is destroying what left of America with sloppy propaganda. Incompetent prosecutors will ensure he gets away with it.
