My wife was looking over my shoulder at your website and wanted to know what that animal is at the top. I said I thought it was a honey badger. Was I right?

#3, I've had a similar experience snowmobiling but with a moose. And no I wasn't harassing it like the dudes in the bear vid, moose have incredibly long legs and can run very fast in very deep snow.
If number 3 is the video I think it was, turned out one of those dudes got seriously F'ed up by that bear, maybe even killed. Saw pictures of him afterward and face was literally ripped off. Don't know if this was part of that video or not.
#10 I had a close call like that a few years back in the Poconos. Fortunately, I was slightly past the strike-- I did see steaming (or smoldering, not sure which) chunks of tree get blown into the road behind my van. And one splinter did get caught wedged under the wire leading to my satellite radio antenna. Didn't damage the wire though and I'm still using that antenna.
