Professor Condemned As ‘Racist’ by Her Department After Supporting Colorblind Research

On December 18, 2020, San Jose State University Associate Anthropology Professor A.J. Faas sent an email to his department promoting a new website that encouraged scholars to cite the work of black academics in their research.

Called CiteBlackAuthors.com, it was started in the wake of the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd at the hands of police.

“Help us spread the word and the WORK of Black, academic professionals,” Faas wrote.

But one member of the department, Professor Elizabeth Weiss, offered a contrary viewpoint.

  1. Don't you just love it when every contrary opinion is labelled 'racist" It's a great way of censoring voices. These days even asking questions can make you "racist". I've always held that you should be able to voice anything. Let your beliefs stand on their own merits.

  2. As I have traveled the planet for work wow have I seen racist crap and I have in my own head none and why is that? Because I do not care what "color" you are. Do. Not. Care. I do care of your actions and items of integrity and honesty and friendship but your color? Nope and that's a problem for those fixated on color for today I am demanded to care of colors and actually I do not.

  3. Wait. I get it. White folk are supposed to worship brown and black-skinned folks. Even stand in awe of them......

  4. “as a scholar in search of objective knowledge, I encourage researchers to look for the best source material and realize that an author’s ethnicity, race, or color of their skin has no actual bearing on the validity of their contribution.”

Only a brain dead SJW could find fault with that statement.

    1. That's the most common kind.
