Here we go again

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Kroger is requesting that any employee or visitor — vaccinated or not — wear masks while inside stores following a recent increase of COVID-19 Delta variant cases.

 *****

Walmart's starting that shit again too. I went into town the other day and there was an employee standing at the door handing out masks. It's a good thing she could handle rejection though, because I saw a total of two people inside the entire place wearing one.

  1. Tis a request,not a mandate(yet)like in the past,so,just pass on the mask.

  2. The mask mandate had expired in Athens, Georgia, the commie college town next door. It took Kroger a while to take down the "required" signs, long after customers and staff had stopped wearing them. The mandate started again today. Businesses can opt out but have to post a sign saying they are opting out. Seems like shaming. It would be easier to just not post a "Required" sign, like before. The strangest one to me was that Harbor Freight was still requiring masks even after Trader Joe's next door had stopped. I live in a Republican, Trump-supporting county adjacent to Athens-Clarke county and we've never had a mandate. Fortunately, Athens has driven most major business to our county, but unfortunately, many businesses followed the home office in Blue states. I'm so pissed.

    1. I was just there yesterday moving my daughter into her apartment. Wouldn't go into town because I wasn't going to wear a mask as I too, had heard it was mandated again. Didn't realize it was at businesses discretion. When I go Saturday, might have to walk around and see whose forcing patrons to wear, vs who's got an opt out sign.

  3. The State of Iowa made it illegal for anyone lower than the state legislature to mandate masks. Get yours to do the same.

    1. When Georgia Governor Kemp issued his State of Emergency Proclamation last year it didn't include a mask mandate and forbade cities and counties from issuing mandates more restrictive than the state. A couple of cities, Savannah and Athens, I believe, bitched and threatened lawsuits. Kemp folded. Legislature would have been better, maybe.

    1. This!
If it’s the bullshit paper diaper it’s worthless.
When masks were the rule I used an N95 that fit properly. (If you can still smell odors, it doesn’t)
      Anything else is just theater.

The libs don't like her because her husband is an R, but in his case, the 'R' is the first letter in RINO (and the second letter in cRiminal), so she is actually liked by no one.

    Just another fucking swamp creature.
