Thanks to a reworked menu and long hours, Jeannie Kim managed to keep her San Francisco restaurant alive during the coronavirus pandemic.
That makes it all the more frustrating that she fears her breakfast-focused diner could be ruined within months by new rules that could make one of her top menu items — bacon — hard to get in California.
To be fair, the article does engage in standard journalistic bullshit in its second sentence; twice, no less: the use of "could". Yeah, it *could* do that. It *could* also give everyone in California superpowers. It *could* cause Saturn to explode.
Will it ruin her business? Will it drive prices up? Maybe - hell, likely even probably. But "could" is just scaremongering.
It is OK to house dozens of illegals per square foot. Pigs though don't vote so we have to protect them.
ReplyDeleteOops, am I giving the left an idea?
Okay, they've stopped legislating and started meddling.

It’s okay. Jeannie Kim is almost certainly Korean. East Asians don’t count as real minorities.
