Piss Poor Prior Planning

FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) - The FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin is now apologizing after people had to wait hours to park before going into the concert Tuesday. Many people say they paid hundreds of dollars to only see part of the concert. The amphitheater owner now says he plans to fix this.

The 7,500-person amphitheater had its first show Tuesday night.

  3. Another location is the Gillette stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Went to see AC/DC’s first NA gig for Black Ice and I’d never encountered that kind of traffic even for a Texas Jam. We had a town car we hired from Boston, and was a nice ride out to the venue up to about 2 miles out. There wasn’t even a drop off location for cabs or town cars on stadium property. We had to hump it in for almost a half mile and about a mile on the way out. I guess they do it to help drinkers sober up before they drive.

    1. If you're too drunk to drive, you will not sober up by walking a mile. That distance only takes twenty minutes to walk, even if you are staggering a bit, and stopping a couple of times to take a piss.
I always did favour walking a few miles home when drunk, though. Walking in the dark is nice.
