Virgil Earp was not able to join his brothers, Wyatt and Warren, during the famous "Earp Vendetta Ride" due to injuries he sustained during an ambush. Instead Virgil Earp went to California, to be near his parents and to bury his brother Morgan. After the Earp Vendetta Ride was over, and his brothers and friend Doc Holliday were in Colorado, Virgil sought medical help in order to alleviate the pain and discomfort from his crippled arm. On the way to see a doctor, Virgil was interviewed by a newspaper reporter. This video is a reading of that interview, along with historical context.
