Former President Trump Endorses Governor Bill Lee in Reelection Campaign
Former President Donald Trump in a statement on Friday endorsed Governor Bill Lee (R-TN) in his campaign to seek a second term as Tennessee’s governor.
Lets see who else runs. Lee has been...problematic. I think he's been trying to split the baby, rather than making principled decisions. So he flip flops. Some good, some so so, some awful, and no consistent strategic or principle based stance.
Given that his opponent last time was clearly a machine pol (endorsed by Jimmy D(r)unken and his passel of relatives, a covert dem trying to claim independent status, and some local sons of no particular ability, he may be the best available option.
OTOH, there's the Knox County mayor, Glenn Jacobs, who has consistently pissed in the cornflakes of the local pols and lackwits and DOES govern from principles. Wish he'd run. Smart, likeable, well-spoken guy who knows who he is.

Trump endorsements mean little more than keeping an "R" in that position and nothing else. Example: Endorsement of Lindsey Graham, RINO hack and best friend of the Democrats for nearly 20 years and a staunch proponent of amnesty & red flag gun laws. That and Sean Vannity's guest almost every night.
