My wife would do something like that. She has a studio and has had several private showings for her oil work. She's pretty good. Put her on a beach and hard telling what she will make out of sand and shells ie. mermaids, turtles etc. She will spend hours building these things. To me, what a boring thing to do. I've seen her in her studio for 14 hours straight pushing oil. She will come out and sit for ten minutes and suddenly she is gone. Back pushin oil. It's like switch she can't or chooses to not turn off.
I don't have a creative bone in my body. That's why when I see this I am in awe that someone has the eye to see the shades of color in rock enough to arrange this beautiful representation. God bless our founding fathers for it is them who sacrificed all they had so that we may live without fear. And it worked, for a good long while.
