Commentary: Virginia, Not California, Will Provide Lessons for 2022

In the wake of a big statewide campaign win of any kind, political pundits rev into overdrive with broad pronouncements about the takeaways and what the result reveals about the mood of the nation. Often, the results are more prosaic — simply the political status quo for that particular state or district in that specific slice of time.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom’s smackdown of the recall was no different this week. Few longtime state politicos were surprised by his ability to win big in solidly blue California.

  1. No thinking human should ever go to the polls to vote anymore, these globalhomo mfers have had it wire for dcades.
If no one voted, either (demo or rep), the demons would still show a 12% or greater win for their lackey POS.

  2. These writers never mention anything about who counts the votes.

I live in VA & absolutely despise McAwful, but am having a hard time getting excited enough to drive 5 miles to vote for yet another "centrist" Republican. Fuck him too unless more information on his true self comes out. I want information, not bloviation. Fuck me once, shame on you. Fuck me twice, shame on me.

That's ok, they never mention anything about who picks the candidates, either.

  4. What the other "Anonymous" says. Sorry, but no. I would be astonished if Virginia ever had anything but a Democratic governor for as long as this nation stands. The last "race" was called with 3% of the vote. Yes. THREE PERCENT. Just as California was called the day before the vote. The fix is in.

  5. What part of "dominion voting machines" do these 'tards not remember? To even call it a recall "vote" makes me sick to my stomach!

  6. California elections were rigged front and back many year ago. It is trivial to steal an election in California for anyone with the right connections. The establishment wanted to put those unruly proles in their place. They did.
