Nashville, baby

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Three juveniles have been taken into custody after police said they went on a violent crime spree around Nashville in broad daylight Monday.

Police have arrested three boys ages 12, 14, and 15.

And then there's this from another site where a woman is trying to lay blame on Tennessee's permitless carry for the little assholes' actions:

Trinity Smith says the news is frightening, yet heartbreaking.

“Where are their parents? That’s the question, where are their parents?” she asked.

Smith fears someone is going to get hurt as these young kids make big, brazen, criminal decisions.

“With the new gun laws like the whole, anybody can basically carry a gun. That kind of set this whole thing up and I think it’s only going to get worse because of that,” she said.

*****

I'm pretty sure that the new carry laws don't apply to little thugs under 18 years old.

  1. Don't care about the age of the threat. If it's armed and attempting to steal my car or rob me, cranial ventilation will occur without hesitation, without remorse, without regret.

  2. Yeah, laws, and people's hysterics about them, rarely intersect. How many articles about 'stand your ground' laws vs. the relatively few instances where it actually applies is a good example...people trot that out immediately in many instances where it has nothing to do with the situation...shoot, it's gotten to the point where people now ARE trying to apply it when it doesn't apply to their situation.

  3. Reasonable gun control: enforce no limits on crims carrying; eliminate 2A protection of the innocents. Where does it say in 2A except machine guns, cannons, mortars and A10s? Nope. Ain't in there. GFY Twice.

  4. Criminals, regardless of age, are not deterred by laws. Never have been and never will be. Only thing criminals avoid is armed citizens.
