Next door in Athens, Georgia. I was there. Four lanes of traffic stopped voluntarily for a mother duck and her followers. Unusual courtesy in a city full of Yankees, academics and Democrats. But I repeat myself.
During the summer here near Charleston, we will have major traffic stops for gaggles of Canada Geese crossing local roads. Sometime in groups of 50 or more.
Looks like she's got all her ducks in a row.
