Two Big Pharmaceutical Companies Sell Monoclonal Antibodies to Federal Government Only, Refuse to Sell to Hospitals or States

Officials with two pharmaceutical companies who produce monoclonal antibody treatments said Wednesday that the U.S. government distributes the currently-available supply of those treatments and that those companies may not sell them to hospitals or state governments.

A spokesman for the New York state-based Regeneron, who identified himself only as Alex, said the U.S. government owns the currently available supply of REGEN-COV, which is the company’s monoclonal antibody treatment. The U.S. government allocates that product to state governments.

“We do not sell the medicine commercially at this point,” Alex said.

  1. In other words: you are only allowed to prescribe and use those medicines approved by the democrats. Snake Oil only with ten percent for The Big Guy.

Not such a bad thing that this is restricted. Injecting dead babies is not good for one's health.

  3. The commies in power are ADDICTED to total control. Expect them to expand this control over pharmaceuticals....to the point where eventually you will have to get Fed Gov approval to be prescribed ANY medications. That way anyone they don't approve of DIES. Mark my words....they WILL try this.

    1. I have ivermectin tablets on order from a supplier in India after a backorder with a domestic veterinary supplier fell through. They should arrive sometime this week or early next week, assuming they don't get mysteriously held up along the way. That might end up becoming the way you get the meds you need if the fascists in Washington don't all get the helicopter flights they so richly deserve.

    2. It is possible to obtain a legitimate prescription from a doctor. Currently, no major pharmacy chains have a corporate policy to not fill those prescriptions.

  4. Gee, why would the government want such powerful leverage over people? What do you think their end goal is? Surely nothing evil. /sarc

    1. Actually, our plan is munificent in its charity. We intend to relieve you insects of the painful burden of your insignificant little lives. No more pain, no more disease, no more work, just endless peace. Truly, your pathetic hearts should stir to be so honored.

  5. A defining characteristic of economic fascism is that private property and business ownership are permitted, but are in reality controlled by government through a business-government "partnership. We there yet?
