Your Wednesday Morning Florida Report

SEVILLE, Fla. – A man shot and wounded his friend Thursday night in Seville during a fight over a broken bottle, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting was reported around 9 p.m. on Columbia Court.

The sheriff’s office said an investigation showed that the victim was hanging out in an empty lot known as The Corner near Lawrence and Princeton streets in Seville. The victim said he threw a bottle in a trash can and it broke, prompting his lifelong friend, 62-year-old Randy Crowder, to become angry and start an argument, according to officials.
