Gotta pay attention to detail, people

REDDING, Calif.- The Redding Police arrested a man after an officer observed their truck had a trailer license plate instead of a commercial license plate on the 4800 Block of Churn Creek Rd. at 10:36 p.m. Friday.

Upon a search of the vehicle a short-barreled shotgun, three live rounds of shotgun ammunition, 1.15 pounds of heroin, a digital scale and drug paraphernalia were found.

    I'm sure he was able to take his heroin with him..but not those live shotgun rounds!
    Gotta look out for the safety of the public.

    Tripped up by the one systematic thing about California license plates.
    ( 1 Letter = commercial truck, 2 letters = trailer, 3 letters = passenger vehicle )
    Of course it's not quite as clean with the advent of personalized plates.
