A left-wing PAC has released an attack ad on YouTube targeting Florida Gov. Ron Desantis and the Sunshine State’s rules against vaccine and mask mandates. Contrary to the authors’ intent upon its release, it may be the best advertisement for liberty since the Declaration of Independence.
It begins with an attempt at Christopher Nolan-style suspense, depicting an unnamed commercial jetliner about to enter Florida airspace. (Enlisting Delta Airlines for the shoot may have been too on-the-nose even for the message-flawed Left).

I sold everything I had and moved nearly 5000 miles to be free, again. I love it here. Hawaii, sucks.
ReplyDeleteThe twitter storm was epic.
ReplyDeleteAfter Desantis announced that his wife had been diagnosed with breast cancer, the left went giddy with glee at the thought she might actually die.
ReplyDeleteBut hey, you know, the people on the right are the cause of all that's wrong with the world, according to the left.

Say what you will about the Left, but they at least understand the concept of hating their enemies. Most of the Right is convinced that if they just fellate the Left a little bit harder this time, everything will come up roses.
DeleteThis is awesome! If it scares liberals away from Florida, that would be SUPER awesome! Let's go Brandon!!!!
ReplyDeleteDeSantis is great. Years ago, I swore I'd never go back, but if I won the lottery big, a house in the keys with a nice fishing boat sounds pretty good.
ReplyDeleteNow for the rest of the story:
ReplyDeleteThe lawyer who is behind the PAC that made that ad is in deep trouble for filing a frivolous lawsuit against Desantis trying to force him to close all Florida beaches, and then appealing when it failed, THEN accusing the appellate court of shooting his suit down for political reasons.
The Florida Bar could end up revoking his license, and he may face contempt of court charges. Because he's an idiot. (Seriously, don't piss off judges. Never a good idea.)
This lawyer is not only feuding with DeSantis, but also with Mike Huckabee. He also dressed up as the Grim Reaper and stalked Florida beaches to make his position known.
DeleteQuote from the below article:
“There’s this utter and complete disrespect for human life. “So if I have to go as a Stanford-educated, highly successful, regular family man in a Grim Reaper suit to get a message across, I guess that’s the world we live in. It’s pretty sad.”
IANAL so I don't know if they all talk like that, but he sounds like a gigantic tool to me. What kind of prick describes himself as "highly successful" and works in his college or law school (I can't be arsed to find out which it is) into a single sentence?

Because we all know how common Covid transmission is outdoors, ie: at the beach.
DeleteHe's well qualified to be a lawyer. He's an idiot.
