The recessive gene for blue eyes which was a mutation has been traced to the Middle East and moved eastwards towards Europe along with agriculture and animal husbandry.
In another life, while motoring through Phu Bai in the back of a 6X, I saw a statue of Jesus as viewed by the local permanent residents. His eyes had a pronounced slant.
And that proves exactly what? I mean, I get you don't seem keen on the idea that Jesus was a Jew, but this comment does not help your argument. Because, ummm, Jesus was of the Tribe of Judah, soooo, not one of the lost tribes. So, yeah, there is that. The 10 lost tribes were from Israel (northern half of the Kingdom) there were scattered following the Assyrian invasion. Jesus was from one of the two tribes that made up Judah (the southern half of the kingdom). Why am I typing this? I really doubt you care at all. -Just A Chemist
The 10 tribes were never "lost". Solomon fell away from serving God, so God gave the 10 tribes to Jeroboam. (1 Kings 11:30 - 36) Those 10 tribes became the nation of Samaria. They did not migrate to Europe, they did not migrate to Africa, they did not become the Indians of North America. Later on, after the 10 tribes split away, there are accounts of Judah going to war against Israel. It would be kind of hard if those "lost tribes" were in Europe, Africa, or North America.
rayvet--there are three races: Caucasoid (White), Negroid (Black) and Mongoloid (Asian). Guess which one the Semites (Jews and everyone else in the Middle East) fall under? (hint: they're neither Negroid nor Mongoloid)
The only physical description of Jesus in the Bible.
Revelation 1:
[14] His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; [15] And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. [16] And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. [17] And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
1 And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
It never makes it clear as to which of the two is "little of stature", aka a tad short.
It's very easy to look at the modern population of an area and assume that it was always like that. DNA is a much better way to look at ancient populations than thinking the ancient population resembles the modern in any way. Case in point, ancient Egyptians, and in particular the Pharoahs, are closely related to ancient and modern Europeans, and differ substantially from the people that now inhabit Egypt.
I could go into this in great detail, with many verses proving a lot. Instead, I will focus on just one thing. When the soldiers came to arrest Jesus in the garden, they needed Judas to point him out to them, implying that Jesus looked like pretty much all of the other Jewish men of the time, not looking like anything special or different. The average male in the area at that time stood about 5'5" tall, with dark brown or black hair, often curly, with olive or brown skin, and dark eyes, brown to almost black. In other words, Jesus looked like the average person of his day, with nothing to make him stand out in a crowd, and the only thing that made him stand out was his magnetic personality. That made him stand out, obviously, with his ability to simply walk up to someone and say, "follow me and I will make you fishers of men" and they would follow him, leaving everything behind. We need to remember that the age and place were much different than today, when much is made of appearance, and status is shown by the clothing we wear, and by our kind of cellphone, and our shoes, etc. The only thing that Jesus had that had much value was his robe, which the soldiers who crucified chose to gamble for, rather than split in pieces, due to it's value.
Some people bitchin a year or so ago because Gal Gadot was going to play Cleopatra, and no hell no, cause Cleo was a POC cause she was born in Egypt, in Africa, remember? Other people pointed out Cleo was Greek, which in those days meant light skin and probably blue eyes. Surprisingly, anti-Gadot people shut up. On DNA, check out Lord of Sipan. He looks disturbingly white.

ReplyDeleteSome people in prison claim to 'find Jesus'.

Who knew? Jesus was a suicide bomber.
ReplyDeleteThat's not Jesus, that's Colin Kaepernick. Big difference.
ReplyDeleteKaep couldn't convert a third down. Jesus could convert millions.

DeleteAnd ALL of the tribes were descendants of Abraham, his son Isaac, & Isaac's son Jacob.
DeleteKind of explains whey the Jews despised the Samaritans.
DeleteRemember folks, the woke crowd wants all vestiges of Caucasian society to be stricken from the history books.

Actually, there may be two.

White head and hair? Red in his eyes? From that description Jesus was an Albino.

That guy looks just like Jesus Gonzales. I bought some weed from him last Christmas.
ReplyDeleteDid Mohamed die and come back as Jesus ? Eh oh well as far as I read Jesus didn't rape anyone. Correct me if I'm wrong . Read king James bible.
ReplyDeleteMohammed was born ~600 years after Jesus.

Most of the modern depictions of Jesus of Nazareth (...minus the blue eyes.) come from the Shroud of Turin.
