Is Biden Weaponizing the IRS Against Gun Owners?
U.S.A. -(AmmoLand.com)- The Biden administration’s plan to fund a multitrillion-dollar spending plan includes having the IRS snoop into every American’s bank account to examine transactions that are $600 or greater. This alarming proposal has implications far beyond the government looking to extract tax money. It is also a potential way for the Biden administration to track who is purchasing firearms.

it's not hard to get around, just pay in cash
ReplyDeleteIn the last 30 years I have always paid cash for guns, ammo, targets, etc. etc.
DeleteThis shit is only going to get worse.
Biden(Obozo, because Biden hasn't had an original thought in 50 years) is weaponizing the entire U.S. executive branch against the citizens.

Well, you worthless peasants are all surplus to labor requirements and you whine incessantly about "rights"...why wouldn't We want you dead after extracting every possible bit of wealth and inflicting as much suffering as possible upon you?

Split up a large purchase and pay with multiple checks under $600. Example, pay a $1500 bill with 3-$500 checks
ReplyDeleteCurrently transactions of $10,000 or more are reported, however they also look at anyone who has a series of transactions in the $9000 range. Bankers are also trained to watch for these multiple just under the limit transactions. They will likely do the same with this idiotic idea.
DeleteJesus man, your checks are cleared by computer and the feds probably already have an AI scanning those as they flow through the internet. They can read your damn hand writing.
DeleteCash, or barter.
The amount of data this will generate will be overwhelming to the banking system and anyone reviewing the transactions. So, what do we do? Hmmmm. Think judo - use your opponent's power against him. For instance I think it is still true that a draft age man must inform the draft board if he will be away from his address for some time, I think 3 weeks? Probably wrong on that but... So, to bring down the draft what if 1% of draft age men sent a postcard to the draft board every time they went someplace? "Dear Draft Board, I am going to the grocery store. XXOO Rickvid"
DeleteDo the same with this cockmamey thing. Pay for large ticket items with a pile of $601 checks. Might not be needed, however, as the volume of data will break the reporting system almost immediately, i.m.h.o.
It's called structuring. And they have made it a crime unto itself. Implicit in structuring is, they say, that you wouldn't do it unless you were trying to hide something. It can't be that you are trying to protect your privacy. No, it must be that you are trying to cover a different crime. So they say. And they are successful in the prosecution even of lawful citizens.
DeleteThere are more uh..."cost efficient" means of acquiring what you want/need.

Thank you for providing the example scenario, making the otherwise difficult mathematical hypothesis a little easier to comprehend. D.C. Senior
DeleteSaw a brief blurb and have no idea if it’s true. They said that it’s reporting on activity on accounts with “$600 or more” in them. Only reason I doubt it is that it was a single source and would be a reporting nightmare. Not that this is much better.

I’ve seen the same thing in multiple places, including correspondence from my credit union.
DeleteI think most people like myself have had enough of the endless taxes they make us pay for whatever dipshit project they think of next. they say how much this tax is going to help people
ReplyDeletewell, I have being paying taxes for fucking years and I have yet to see it help me out once.
to be honest, it is better anymore to be a fucking wetback and get everything for free that we pay thru the nose for. and they wonder why people are buying guns and ammo like mad ?
even joe six pack knows this shit can't go forever, and he getting ready for the fall.
I've heard two versions of this plan, the one detailed here and another that opens your account to IRS purview if the balance on your account exceeds $600 in a year. Either is not acceptable to this Deplorable.
ReplyDeleteIs Biden weaponizing the IRS? Now there's a "no shit Sherlock" question.
ReplyDeleteI have several Mexican's at my place of employment they cash there checks the day they get them. Then every thing is cash for food gas and clothes. savings are probably buried in the back yard they avoid the government agents at all cost, they drive cars they buy at the we tote the note places, or just pay cash. they tell me that having insurance is for suckers because they just walk away from the wreck and disappear. They move their savings out of the country using various methods including smugglers so they have nothing to lose in the USA. They don't play the bankers game, and it looks like they are winning to me.
ReplyDeleteYep, push some enough and even honest citizens drop out of the system or turn to petty crimes.
DeleteJust rename your gun shop to "Harry's 7*24 abortion clinic".
ReplyDeleteYou'll do just fine.
Quit paying with credit cards, quit paying with checks, quit paying with electronic transfer, if possible quite having direct deposits of all your income, take cash out of your account and pay in cash or buy money orders. Surprising how many good deals you can get on everything when paying with cash.
ReplyDeleteAll this is going to do is increase the amount of items paid for with cash and other forms of tangible items, as in a huge increase in the barter economy. BFYTW!
