Judge rules attorneys can call a spade a spade in Rittenhouse trial

On Monday, a Wisconsin judge ruled that Kyle Rittenhouse's defense team will be allowed to refer to the teen's shooting victims as "rioters," "looters," or "arsonists" during the upcoming trial.

  1. Big box of nothing. They can use a term if the defense can prove "looting" or "arson", but since the attackers were out on the street when acted, there certainly will be no possibility of "proof". The term "rioter" will lead to a fabulous debate about the meaning of that word. All literate and all. Much ado about nothing.

  3. Just wondering: is there a 'Brandon' on the defense team?

  4. A number of Service personnel have commented on Rittenhouse's control, both of his weapon and his emotions at the time of those attacks on him. One SF NCO has credited Rittenhouse with fire control well above that demanded of SF Forces. Rittenhouse's actions that night should be praised as an example of what a good and responsible member of a civilised community should do.
Rittenhouse is completely innocent of any crime whatsoever and should receive praise for his actions.

No kidding. Everyone is impressed by Kyle's fire control. Any film of him that night should be used as study material in any armed defensive training class.

  5. Actually, I think this ruling will turn out to be one of the important things for the defense in this trial. Remember, the side who gets to define the terms usually ends up winning the argument.
In a fair country, this would never come to a trial, but since it was filmed, and became a national spectacle, the prosecutor felt like there was no choice but to bring it to trial.
You can only hope that the defense is able to trace these perps down via video footage, that shows the 3 POS engaging in some of the very things that could serve to reinforce the point that Kyle was only defending himself against thugs and criminals.

  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but I read today that the latest judge has allowed video evidence of LE tossing Rittenhouse a water bottle and thanking him for being out there defending the used car lot. (after curfew). Btw there's a dirtbag out there right now missing a bicep.

  8. Yep. Seems clear that the prosecuter is going for "peaceful protest" and, by the way, a riot broke out nearby. Clearlt Rittenhouse was attacked, but the prosecutor can't have the peasants thinking that they can actually defend themselves without facing a ruinous trial and maybe jail time. The prosecuter is not going after rioters and criminals, so what else has he to do? Running up the bill is what this is all about. Defend your life and loose your house. It is the Progressive way. Dem gunz is skary!

  12. Kinda curious, he shoots 3 "innocent" protesters and bags a kiddie tickler, a wife beater and a semi professional burglar, makes me wonder what sorta people attend these parties.
I would be proud to claim that kind of control, he shot no one who wasn't aggressing his person, and didn't hit anyone who wasn't attacking him.
The felon with the pistol hasn't explained why he had a medic bag and a firearm with hopefully better medical quals that his gun quals obviously show.
May be a very short trial, with a quick verdict.
