The Department of the Interior failed to file an appeal to a federal judge’s August decision blocking the multi-billion dollar Willow Project being developed by the Texas-based oil and gas firm ConocoPhillips. Judge Sharon Gleason of the U.S. District Court of the District of Alaska ruled that the federal government hadn’t adequately reviewed the emissions profile of the project, which she said would ultimately harm the environment and wildlife.

ReplyDeleteOnce biden came in Lisa Murkowski 's mouth , he didn't need her vote til next time. She will forget Alaska lost the oil job and Cobb his knob again.
ReplyDeleteLisa’s the worst thing to happen to my state since her dad was governor. The caribou & moose will be just fine, just like they were the first time.
ReplyDeleteIs this judge always an ass? At some point the people will remove these anti American individuals “with extreme prejudice”. I could be wrong this time.
ReplyDeleteThey haven't yet. They aren't now. The odds of anyone doing it in the future aren't exactly great, either.
DeleteFrom the article: "The entire congressional delegation from Alaska – Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan and Rep. Don Young – have been vocal proponents of the project"
ReplyDeleteOk, so that's one really good reason to kill the project, but yeah, as far as us rank-and-filers go, it's a shit deal. Which is just icing on the cake for the gummint.
We Alaskans can tell you, this ain't her first rodeo. Judge Gleason has stymied more than one project.
ReplyDeleteThe president’s handlers are singlehandedly responsible for the jump in gas prices by shutting down oil pipelines and drilling efforts. We may also get hooked again on Arab oil. And OPEC.
ReplyDeleteAmerican entanglement in the Middle East is a feature and not a bug -- for some people. Not Americans, of course.
