WASHINGTON, Oct 12 (Reuters) - White House officials, scrambling to relieve global supply bottlenecks choking U.S. ports, highways and railways, warn that Americans may face higher prices and some empty shelves this Christmas season.
The supply crisis, driven in part by the global COVID-19 pandemic, not only threatens to dampen U.S. spending at a critical time, it also poses a political risk for President Joe Biden.
Government people, especially democrats, don't scamble to do anything beside steal money.
ReplyDeleteWho thought it was a good idea for the US to get 90% of its shit from China, an enemy of the US.
Why wasn't this declared a clear and present danger to our natl security? Why is is not being declared now?
If you declared China a clear and present danger now, the art market might take a tumble. Other than that, thank Tricky Dick.
DeleteBecause the Left realized that it fucked up and allowed the Soviet Union to collapse before it could conquer the West. They won't repeat the same mistake with China.
DeleteAs long as the Democrats continue to control election outcomes through ballot manipulation and Republicans continue to let election corruption slide there is no politcal risk for anyone. We now have an unlimited government that can do whatever they want. The destruction of the economy and bringing America to its knees is the plan and the plan is working. TINVYWOOT.

ReplyDeleteMaybe the moving of containers out of the ports and unloading more from ships, in California, has to do with truck shortages. California AB5 basically says no Owner/Operators. Also:CARB to begin blocking certain trucks’ DMV registrations in 2020
ReplyDeleteCarriers domiciled in California with trucks older than 2011 model, or using engines manufactured before 2010, will need to meet the Board’s new Truck and Bus Regulation beginning in 2020 or their vehicles will be blocked from registration with the state’s DMV, the state has said.
I made a trip to Sams to replenish stuff that we had stocked up on over time. What used to cost me just over $350 was almost $600. And the things missing were odd. No tomato paste. Literally, 11 double packs of mustard and none on the overhead racks. No carrots. And the gov says inflation is just under 6%. They are lying thru their collective teeth, but I repeat myself...
