Oh, for fuck's sake...

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Violent domestic extremist groups are targeting more of our veterans and active-duty military members for recruitment, according to testimony before a House panel on Wednesday.

  1. Evidently 6.4 percent of undercover FBI agents have prior military service.

  2. Well, it is CBS, communist broadcasting system... What did they expect? Leftist and democrudes are trying to turn this country communist and some of us, including and especially veterans don't particularly want that. My thinking is they haven't seen nuttin' yet.

  4. More propaganda of the sort coming from the south end of a north bound bull. These are the same tropes that came out of the Obuttface admin.

I for one am dam sick and tired of hearing them. They want "domestic extremism"? They're doing a pretty good job of creating them, all by their onesie. That's perhaps the whole point, so they have another excuse to "crack down".

They're forgetting one little detail. 500M+ weapons and 10T rounds of ammo in the hands of some pretty pissed off people is not a scenario they can win.

On the plus side today 2-3 more long serving Demonrats have announced their retirement. That's what they do when they know they can't win re-election. oh, by the way. In addition to all of the insider stock deals they've profited from over their multiple terms, they get to keep the cash in their "campaign war chests". In "retirement" they'll be lobbying for the likes of China, Iran and Russia or get some cushy gig on ABCCNNNBCMSNBC as a political commentator. You should read the retirement announcement speeches. "After having the "privilege" of serving the people of the XXXXX Congressional District in state of XXXXXX, I'm announcing my retirement at the end of my current term. It has been a privilege to serve the People of the XXXX Congressional District over these XXXX years, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.

More like it has been to my benefit that I've been allowed to lie, cheat and steal from the people of the state XXXX and become a multi-millionaire in process via stock deals and campaign contributions, while the people in my district have had to struggle to make ends meet.

What a bunch of horse poop.

  5. I am sure they are counting attacks such as the one by Maj. Nidal Hasan in their numbers.
Never mind that is not really whom they are talking about, but it supports the narrative.

  6. The extremist group known as the "oath keepers" should be deeply concerning to anyone who has taken an oath to uphold and defend the constitution. They are making us look bad.

  10. If I were the government I would not be as afraid of the terrorist groups recruiting veterans, as I would be of them recruiting those whom are already known terrorists. Parents and those who have grandchildren attending schools.
The FBI has already decided that those are people to be concerned about, so if the groups that want to set the country on fire recruit a couple million of them, it's katie bar the door.
This is only said in jest, ala the Babylon Bee. Nothing is meant to be taken literally. Please ensure that any whistleblower reports this to their local FBI headquarters.
You have to be careful about what kind of jokes you mention now, you know.

  11. Why do you keep electing assholes to the House and Congress?

    1. Nobody likes congress, but everyone likes "their" guy. Their guy brings home the bacon. Their guy fixed that road. Their guy told us that s/he/it (pronouced sheeeit) is fighting hard for us.

Their guy also is able to greatly out raise any opponent on the campaign trail. Unless an outside group comes in and specifically targets their guy, their guy can grossly outspend any upstart.

There is a little town that I drive through on a regular basis that is having local elections in a few weeks. At least two are springing for billboard advertisements. I don't know how much the billboards cost, but it seems like a huge amount to spend for a local election. Who's funding them?

In the little town I recently moved away from, the post of mayor is effectively unpaid. The mayor gets a small stipend to pay for travel expenses, but it's not much, maybe $1,000 a year. One of the candidates drop $10,000 of his own money in order to win the election. Long story that gives away the little town, but that $10,000 investment paid off big time for Mr. Mayor.
