    1. All predators attack the weakened animals (old, young, injured)--it's insane to go after ones that are in their prime--chances of injury or death are much higher. Note that we humans try to go for the bucks with the biggest racks, which denotes they're older and have lived through a few breeding seasons.

  3. Yeah, must have been a young one. They're ambush predators, and usually (from what I understand) kill with the first strike. This one looked to be almost playing, which is how cats learn to kill.

    This one definitely learned something that doesn't kill fat ladies with walkers.
