  2. My job in high school. A lot of work that people don’t expect. Add the trunk (cars) and under the hood for the full meal deal

  3. So five minutes on video took how long?

    1. For me, it was minimum 1/2 day per car w/ 2 people. This one would be near a full day assuming you’re doing the engine as well.

  4. Man, I thought my Jeep was getting bad. It looks like a concours d'elegance winner compared to this Tundra. When you have to use a steam jet to unstick the pile of coins glued-in with spilled drinks, you know the owner was certifiable slob.

  5. What was the green cards he put under the seat? Makes you wonder what the owner's house looks like.

    1. The green cards were air fresheners...mask the funky smell that's trapped in the seat foam and other areas that can't be accessed to clean.

  7. The memsahib and I used to run a valeting service about thirty years ago. Standout memories were a Fiat 132 with dried dog vomit trodden into the boot carpet and a Simca pickup which was so full of dirt that we filled the footwells with soapy water, brushed it in, then knowcked out the rubber plugs to drain them. Oh, what fun we had . . .

  9. While I acknowledge that people are free to treat their possessions however they want to, and that that was an impressive cleaning job.....I just have zero respect for anyone who would let their vehicle get that nasty in the first place.
    But that's just me.

  10. I spent a few hours on my daughters car when she came home from college on the weekend, no quite that bad but close.

  12. my parents taught me to WORK. That thought me to value what I spend my money on. I could not imagine allowing my vehicle to get filthy like that.

  13. At the end of the day I suppose that guy can take all the spare change and have a few after-work drinks at his local pub.

  14. I enjoyed watching the whole thing. Made me happy.

  15. I've never let my vehicle get that bad either, but I have known a few people that needed to pull up next to a dumpster and shovel it out. You couldn't even sit in their front passenger seat because it was so full of trash.

If you use them regularly, you can't help getting the bottom of the cup holders sticky after awhile. One trick I learned a long time ago was to fold a paper towel into a 2" x 2" square and squash it down into the bottom of the cup holder. Just replace the paper towel every now and then (...or right after a spill...) and they will stay clean for a long time.

  17. Proof that some "people" are nothing but two legged animals. Calling them a pig would be an insult to swine.

  19. A gal at church, Athena B., invited me to lunch after service.
    .
A smoker, her dash ashtray had a waterfall of crushed butts cascading down and out across the floor each side of the console.
    Thousands of cigarette butts.
    .
I took my truck, met her at the restaurant.

  20. And that was just after the car had 1,000 miles on it.
