  1. I was kind of hoping for some instant karma because this cop actually looked like he being helpful. (I don't have sound so I don't know what is said.) He could have confiscated the phone from the little twit that was filming and got a face from it.

That said, he seems to lack intelligence which isn't surprising for police; at lease chase immediately.

    1. Putting on a government issued costume and flashing government issue costume jewelry does not entitle a man to respect. If anything, the cops owe citizens respect since we are the masters and they are the servants.

    2. Yeah Chris, hopefully you're not responsible for raising any kids. Your attitude will only be harmful to them.

  4. Australia?
A little proverb about sowing and reaping comes to mind.

    1. Maybe it was the cop who was reaping.

    2. That was my point.
Aussie cops have been pretty heavy handed.

  5. Dear kindly officer Krupke,
    You gotta understand:
    It's just our bringin' upke
That gets us out of hand.

    1. In my opinion, this child does not need to have his head shrunk at all. Juvenile delinquency is purely a
      social disease.

  6. #5: I got the same look from a girlfriend once when I told her I was doing her mother. It must be a feminine thing.

  7. Aussie cops have earned all the contempt, detestation, humiliation, and worse coming their way.

    1. I doubt this predates recent events and no matter what, 2 wrongs don't make a right.

    2. Yeah, when the Jews of Warsaw shot those SS troopers, it was "two wrongs don't make a right"
Cop should be grateful he just got a dunking, soon enough, the push back is going to be a tad more permanent.

  8. I used to honor all cops. But the more that I see, the more I understand that many of them deserve to be helped into the drink once in awhile, just because of how they treat those who are the ones that they are meant to help and to serve.
For those of you that don't know me personally, I am the guy that everyone would wish that their daughter brought home to introduce to their parents as the one they wanted to marry. Or the one that the teachers in school voted for as the high school student they wished all of the rest of their students were like. No, really, they actually voted that my senior year. i was not a suck up, just a good, decent and helpful young man, who treated everyone with respect and kindness.
I used to think that all cops were like that, as well. But my last couple of times I interacted with the cops were not like that at all, and I have had to change my feelings, and my opinion of police, sadly for the worse. The last time I dealt with a cop, I was pulled over by a cop, in the morning, when I passed a school bus, coming at me, with it's yellow lights flashing, but the bus was still moving. I kept going, but the cop that was sitting along the road, just watching traffic, pulled up and stopped me. Acting all tough, he read me the riot act, telling me that I was supposed to stop, and how it was people like me that caused the death of so many little kids, and on and on, he went.
I told him that I had a carry permit and had a gun in my car, as is the law in Michigan, he asked where the gun was, I pointed out that it was on the floor, under a newspaper, or magazine or such, I can't remember for sure what I had over it, and he took my license and registration, and insurance, and walked back to his car to run my information.
When he came back, he had calmed down, but when I asked him if the law was not just when the flashers were red, and the bus was stopped, that I had to stop, he got going again. He didn't write me a ticket, I think that he knew that I was in the right, and he just stopped me to justify his being out there that day, looking for any reason to stop someone, to prove himself useful. But I didn't appreciate being treated like a punk kid, who was acting like an irresponsible jackass, by some young cop, who clearly was just trying to get off by being "the man", while I was not impressed by him in the least.
The thing is, I reached the point a long time ago, where I am impressed by substance, and not by smoke and mirrors, and those who use those smoke and mirrors to try and impress, are not only wasting their time, but are showing their true colors. It is the same for not just cops but also for politicians, and military members, or educators, and any other person who is attempting to be a leader of society. Tell me how important you are, and I will show you how important you are, just by looking at you.

  9. Police in the UK are becoming more and more despised as well. Much heavy handed behaviour over Covid restrictions combined with profound ignorance of the law. Politicised policing of protests, lefties and ecoloons get a free pass and are allowed to block the roads with impunity. They are a disgrace basically.
