Closing arguments Monday before jury begins deliberations in Kyle Rittenhouse trial

Attorneys were set to make closing arguments Monday at Kyle Rittenhouse’s trial in the shootings of three men during street unrest in Wisconsin, the last word before a jury begins deliberating in a case that underscored Americans’ bitter divisions on issues of guns, protests and policing.

  1. Hope Kyle gets off and sues those asshole to the gates of hell. Let him run for office on the proceeds. Bet he will be president in 15 or so years.

  2. I will be very surprised if he isn't convicted of something, I just heard the last few minutes of the judges charge to the jury and I think he said the gun charge was off the table, not sure what that's all about. Unless there are some courageous folks on the jury they will vote to convict to protect themselves and their town.

Same. Seems fairly likely that they'll find him guilty of one of the lesser includeds. But, if not, the Feds are preparing their case.

  3. Based on the reports I've seen of the "evidence" presented by the prosecution, the jury should be back in about an hour.
