‘Constitutional Republic City’: Oroville City Council Votes To Declare COVID Independence

OROVILLE (CBS13) — The city of Oroville is getting national attention for announcing they will not follow controversial orders issued by the governor or president. The fight stems from a number of federal and state pandemic protection mandates. 

Oroville city leaders are launching a resolution revolution. In a 6-1 vote, the city council declared Oroville a “Constitutional Republic City.”

  4. A county Sharif is the law of the land. He can ask the feds and the state to leave his county. Now how many deputies he has is up to him and his budget. I am sure that a ancillary volunteer deputy force that is “a well trained militia” would kinda come in handy, no? Stop them at the county line. Hell yeah. I like this. Where do I sign up?

  8. The first Karen interviewed says that we all want to follow the law. Hey, d-bag, a 'mandate' is NOT a fucking law, you hag. Thank goodness I don't live in CA...and I'm moving out of MA come the new year. Sheesh, what a couple of looney bins those states have become.
