New Jersey Senate Democrat says '12,000 ballots recently found' support refusal to concede

Democratic New Jersey Senate President Steve Sweeney, who is projected to lose his bid for reelection against a little-known truck driver, is talking about "recently found" ballots to support his refusal to concede the race.

The defiant incumbent released a statement to the Philadelphia Inquirer on Thursday that explained why he is not ready to admit defeat to his Republican challenger.

Recently 'found' ballots..... Uh-huh. Sure. You bet.

  1. 12,000?
That's awesome, since he needs 11,999 votes to win.

  2. If it wasn't counted on election day, they shouldn't be counted. Mail-in ballots should be first to be counted so they can't "find" more after being given the number they need to "find".

    1. There should be no mail in ballots (sole exception for active duty military deployed away from home).

Too lazy to plan your affairs to go to a well advertised place on a date known months in advance? They voting is just too hard for a special person like you

    1. Because for all the Right's tough talk, they are never, ever, ever held to account, and they know they never will be.

    1. Last guy who cast a vote that actually mattered was Lee Harvey Oswald, and look what happened to him.

  6. "Found" upends chain of custody as it implies they were previously lost.

  7. The down side to DeSantis opening up the FL container ports. . . Some of the Chinese ballots made it to NJ in time to not be completely implausible.

  8. When I first saw a picture of Steve Sweeney I thought "Boy, does that guy look like a Union thug". Then I read his Wikipedia page and discovered why. He IS a Union thug.
At least in California the politicians are a little more subtle about it. But not in New Jersey.

  10. Why not, who's going to stop Sweeney? Not the GOP. They are only a pretend opposition party.

  15. Hey...."finding" ballots got Pedo Joe the win....so the commie left will continue "finding" ballot as long as doing so gives them the result they want. Remember. It's NOT CHEATING when the left does it.
