Rittenhouse Verdict Has Leftist Rioters Worried: “It fundamentally changed the culture of protest”
The 2020 antifa/BLM violent crime spree in Democrat-run cities across the nation was not just approved by but was championed by Democrat officials, some of whom dismissively noted that burning down buildings and looting businesses was “righteous” and besides, who cares, anyway, since the businesses are insured.

They're smarter than they look.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could say that I would hope it would make them think twice about looting and rioting. But then they are not the thinking type to begin with.
ReplyDeleteI’m clutching my pearls.
ReplyDeleteNext one won’t get threw there fingers.
ReplyDeleteMake no mistake.
I feel bad for whomever it is.
Bottom line their fee for "protesting", looting, and burning just went up. Soros and others paying the costs will be forced to pay more and then get the DNC FBI after anyone that attacks the rioters.
ReplyDeleteHere's the thing. It wouldn't matter if the police were defined or not. They don't have to protect you, your family or your property.
ReplyDeleteSubject to narrow exceptions[2], the United States Constitution does not require law enforcement officers to protect you from other people, according to the U.S. Supreme Court. This notion contradicts our engrained perceptions, but it’s still the law today.

So it is pretty much up to each citizen to protect themselves, their own families and property.
If I were writing a new bill of rights, the analogue to the second amendment would contain a clause specifying that any government or corporate entity forbidding people to be armed in a venue accepts responsibility for their safety with no indemnification against lawsuits.
DeleteIf they want 'gun control', make it cost them.

"who cares, anyway, since the businesses are insured."
ReplyDeleteThere's a thing called "force majeure" that is often applied by insurance co.'s in major disasters, like riots, that allows them to get away with not paying the claim. Read the fine print on your insurance policy.
Force majeure is a common clause in contracts which essentially frees both parties from liability or obligation when an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, epidemic or sudden legal changes prevents one or both parties from fulfilling their obligations under the contract.
I'm betting that the WI riots and the ones in Portland and Seattle and other places have been or will be so declared.

To paraphrase an old saying:
ReplyDelete"Shoot, Scoot, and Shut the Hell Up!"
and wear a full face mask, not only agin' the 'Rona,
but agin' surveillance cameras.
and the mask needs to alter the profile of your face, eg like an airsoft wire mesh nose and mouth guard worn under the full face balaklava. and tape a quarter inside the heel of one of your shoes to alter your gait.
DeleteIn rural areas, it's 'Shoot, shovel, shut up.'

I was at a family funeral last week and was going thru my phone to delete some pix. My inventory of weapons came on screen and my niece was surprised that her Uncle Boiling Mad CPO owned any guns at all. Imagine my surprise when she showed me the inside of her gun safe.
ReplyDeleteThere is hope for us all.

Yet again nothing about the Maxwell trial.... Should be the number 1 item on tv.
ReplyDeleteWhat TV? Ohio Guy
DeleteIt's actually the fbi running the riots and all the other subversive operations. Which of course is the main reason for the obviously low IQ level of those operations.
ReplyDeleteI wouldnt count on getting a fair shake even if you defended yourself INSIDE your business, possibly within your home but not outside it.
