NEW JERSEY - Police in Monmouth County had a big job on their hands earlier this week when a pet bison bolted from its home and roamed through Marlboro Township.
That animal is not 2500 pounds and is in fact, pretty emaciated. Whoever is keeping it needs to be investigated to see why. The most a healthy, huge specimen weighs is 2000 pounds. You can tell by the two guys in the picture this is not a really big one.
I've had my eyes on a move to Wyoming for a long time, just not sure I can handle the winters now.
