Well into the 90s John Deere forestry machines were all yellow, and I believe their dozers still are. The newer skidders, loaders and processors are all green, I believe.
My brother's 440 skidder has a few green panels, that have been painted over in industrial yellow. From what we have been told, the early 440's were JD green.

ReplyDeleteBack when you could maintain your own equipment. Now you need dealership approval to add an implement to your tractor.
