  1. That was back when Amerika built the best stuff in the world. Everyone wanted what we built . Then the banksters thought it a good idea to make Marion Power Shovels in Japan for half of what we were building one for . Sell off the machinery and close down our factories .

  4. What the hell. John Deere gear is supposed to be green. Caterpillar is yellow.

    1. Well into the 90s John Deere forestry machines were all yellow, and I believe their dozers still are.
      The newer skidders, loaders and processors are all green, I believe.

    2. My brother's 440 skidder has a few green panels, that have been painted over in industrial yellow. From what we have been told, the early 440's were JD green.
