37 Percent of Democrats in College Say They Refuse to be Friends with a Republican Voter

New polling from Axios and Generation Lab shows that Democrat college students are far more likely than their Republican classmates to refuse to date, work for, or even be friends with someone who voted for the other party’s presidential candidate.

71 percent of Democrats in college said they would not go on a date with someone who voted for the GOP presidential candidate. 41 percent would not shop at a business owned by the same. 37 percent would not be friends with someone who voted for that candidate, and 30 percent would not work for that person.

  3. Change Republican to any color, any religion, or any other demographic, and accusations of some sort of ‘ism’ would be the headlines

  4. If we could get that to 100%, that would be awesome!

  5. Wonder what the % are for Republicans doing the same thing? You can count me as one that views the Dems as evil and the enemy. They did that to me.

  6. So 71% of Democrats in college stand little chance of getting laid, and 30% of the jobless ones won't be able to pay off their student loans...brilliant, I say, brilliant!

    1. I have read that many will be dead from the vaxx in 5 years, and in 10 years Dr. Mercola says 81% of the vaxxed will be dead, so I am not going to worry about it.

  7. I wonder if those same sentiments reach across all of who they choose to deal with.

Would they purchase produce from Republican farmers / ranchers ? I don't imagine many hard core Democrat farmers - they are a conservative bunch. What about vehicle mechanics ? Or items transported by truck drivers ?

Contrary to the Left's popular belife, not all Republicans are rich. Most of the people who work with their hands doing manual labor tend have conservative tendencies. They work hard and watching people get benefits who doen't rather irks them.

  8. Ahh yes, the side that claims tolerance because the "other side" is so intolerant.

  9. I don't want to be near any demonKKKrats as they are either very ignorant or knowingly evil and I never hire anyone if I know they voted for biden, clinton, obama, etc.

  10. Oh...Oh....how CAN I carry on?! Yeah I know (or knew) some of those dipwads, but they banned me from their lives and I felt better almost immediately.

  12. 90% of the jobs available, and created through startups or the creation of businesses in this country, and mostly worldwide do not require a college education, with the possible exception of the sciences (not the fake fuchi science), math, end the engineering & physics. A lot require some training, community college, or internships and apprenticeships. You can make a very good living , sometimes even better with a blue collar job that with atons of advanced degrees. There is no way I would hire any college graduate from any of the mainstream colleges. They are simply more trouble than they're worth

  13. I'm fine with that, I personally don't want to spend any time with a liberal asshole. Life is too short to waste with retards.

  14. Small company here, and I own it. ANYTHING I can do to let the woke self deselect is a very low cost and completely legal win. THEIR decision, not mine. Damn betcha we got flag patches, MAGA hats, NRA stickers in the trucks, etc.

And, yes, I have a list of colleges I won't hire from too. We get applicants from the Seven Sisters, for example- roundfile without reading.

  15. Arrogant punks think WE would have THEM?
I've had some liberal friends of a sort in the local music scene; at some point they grow tiresome in spite of level of talent.
And I got older and less tolerant of bullshit.

  16. As a senior citizen and widowed, dating became a thing to think about after my wife had been gone for over five years.
At the local seniors social group I met a women, about five years younger, good health and with quite a nice figure. Pleasant and funny.
We went out a couple of times. And she was a liberal. After a couple of the off-hand comments she made set my back teeth grinding. I stopped calling her.
A couple of years later I met another woman, about three years older than me. A widow. A Republican. Most of her figure had settled in one spot. Inordinately fond of cats.
We've been together six years now.

  17. In general, conservatives don't boycott nearly as much as leftists do. They also are less like to burn your business down or try to drive you from public places. That's why so many businesses immediately caved to the leftists shakedown artists. Conservatives need to start boycotting more.

  18. Awfully bold of them to assume we want anything to do with them in the first place. I find these terms acceptable.

  19. The article I saw indicated the GOV respondents were much more tolerant about associating with the Dems.
So once again with pretty much every talking point the Dems push about being for the working person, minorities, etc., etc., it is actually the GOP folks that are living those values.
