  3. Christ Awmitey! Take an illegal business that has thrived despite federal and government law enforcement efforts, turn it over to legitimate business and California kills it in months. Just by being California!

    "Forget it Jake, it's California!"

  4. OMG... What living fossil said is so true. EVERYTHING the government touches turns to shit. It's ironically hilarious that the answer to the war on drugs is legalization...

  5. For an excellent explanation of this phenomenon, look for a TV show on National Geographic channel called "Trafficked", season 2. One of the first episodes examines both the legal and illegal weed markets. California has imposed so many taxes and regulations and paperwork that no legal dealers can make a profit.

I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.

  7. What a surprise.

As I made clear years ago, "legalizing it" only invited the Government into your life. Stupid.

  9. It's mostly the same in Kanada. High taxes, red tape, high prices(not a joke). The illegal guys are still in biz, got better product and better prices, no supply issues and no security cameras recording your purchase.

    What could go wrong?

The only good part is, you can grown yer own, within limits.
