PLACERVILLE (CBS13) — If you called it a cold-hearted crime and you wouldn’t be the only one. The Salvation Army is now warning people before they make a donation after someone stole their kettles in El Dorado County. They’re worried the thief is now scamming people to collect donations for themselves.

This isn't anything new. When I was living in Modesto, it happened at least once a year. One time the shopping center's security cameras caught the bell ringer loading the kettle into a car that pulled up and then called the police to report the theft.
It will be hard for the ex-Salvation Army to get any sympathy on this one. It was probably the work of one of those "oppressed" minority people that they were trying to "help".They was just cutting out the middle man and all those tedious prayer services.
ReplyDeleteAnd this is different from the government taxing people to pay for 'infrastructure'?
ReplyDeleteI live in El Dorado County. Placerville, Hangtown, is about 99.9 percent white. With it's fair share of crack heads.
ReplyDeleteThe Salvation Army doesn't want my money anyway, on account of my being White. Fuck them.
